Lauren + Chris = Married! Odiorne Wedding Sneak Peek {Charlotte Wedding Photographer}

Yesterday was exciting and high energy. Lauren and Chris were married in downtown Charlotte at the Great Aunt Stella Center. I hope to post a lot more photos in the next week or so but wanted to give everyone a teaser from what I captured yesterday.

Lauren & Chris = Married in 19 days! {Charlotte Engagement Photographer}

When I first sat down with Lauren, it was to discuss her wedding photography. However, I soon learned that Lauren and Chris had never had professional photos taken together before. So Lauren asked me to ask shoot an engagement session with them. We met at Vinnie’s on South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC to grab some appetizers before heading over to Camden Street. This was my first time meeting Chris so it was great to have a little bit to sit and talk before asking him to try to be comfortable in front of my camera. After eating Vinnie’s delicious fried pickles (my mouth is watering just thinking about it) and taking our first shots on Camden Street, we visited the French Quarter. I absolutely want to go back there for another shoot at some point. You don’t even feel like you are in Charlotte. If it weren’t for the skyline lingering overhead, it would be easy to forget.

Lauren and Chris’s wedding is right around the corner. Only 19 days away. At this point, it is just down to the details. I’m really excited to see how everything comes together. I can’t wait to shoot the Perrell / Odiorne wedding on August 6th!
