DIY Stationary {Denver, NC Photographer}

Becoming a business owner is a task in itself, nevermind the actual work involved with whatever business you are opening. I have been working for months to tackle all the little items involved with starting a business – all being done at night or on the weekends outside of normal business hours, during which I am a graphic designer. One of the tough decisions one must make is whether or not you are going to apply for financial assistance during your startup phase.

Outside of financing my computer, I chose to forego applying for a business loan. Instead, I am attempting to do a little at a time as my business brings in money.

I decided to hold off on creating/printing any stationary, letterhead, etc. at this point. The only tangible things with my logo on them, at this point, are my business cards. Being the huge fan of DIY that I am, I was thrilled with my fun find this weekend. I was meeting a potential (now actual!) client near South Park on Saturday afternoon to discuss their upcoming event, when I saw that this really cool store was open on the corner that I had been wanting to check out – Paper Source. I went in briefly because I was quite early for my appointment. I HATE being late. I browsed for a while and couldn’t get through all of the cool, obscure, sharp-witted items in this store, so I went back when my appointment was over. I started looking for items to create my own thank you cards so I could make them on an as-needed basis. Short story long, I found this awesome rubber stamp and bought some fun grey stationary to use. Viola! Simple DIY stationary for my business. Hope you like! Thoughts? Comments? Love? Hate? Let me know, leave a comment!

About Kasey Loftin Photography

Well what can I say? I love photography. Not in the "man I love this shirt" kind of way, but in a "my life is incomplete without it" kind of way. I crave the opportunity to capture something unique, something real, something honest about the people and pups I'm blessed to meet and the places I'm lucky enough to travel. I have the most amazing man in my life that loves me for every crazy, emotional, passionate, goofy fiber that I am. He is kind. He's my rock. He's my shelter. He's the hand I hold every night and he's the person I want to kiss before I leave for work. But enough about me. What's your story? I would love to help you write it with light.
