It’s Official! {Denver, NC Photographer}

I can now accept credit cards as a form of payment. I’ve been working for about a week and half to put this into place. I worked with a great credit processing company to get the hardware and software in place to accept this form of payment. When I got home today I saw that I received my credit card swiper which conveniently attaches to my iPhone! All I had to do was open an account with the credit processor and download an iPhone app. Simple. AND it’s PCI compliant so it’s nice and secure to protect my clients’ data. Cool, huh?

The More, the McMerrier! {Huntersville Family Photographer}

I’ve taken family photos before, but this family took “family photos” to a whole new level. You’ll see why when you scroll down and see the size of this family! My friend Rebecca asked me to capture a day in their family reunion weekend. They haven’t had a group photo in almost 10 years!

I met Rebecca when I was a sophomore in high school, followed by meeting her immediate family sometime after that. Our freshman year of college, we met the love of Becca’s life, Chris. Early on in college, Becca invited me to go to the beach with her for a weekend with her extended family. It was her grandparents’ surprise anniversary party. I was in charge of scoping out the scene to make sure her grandparents had arrived and then cue the surprise entrance of the rest of the family. I was happy to do it! The weekend was a blast. Over the years I bumped into the family at showers, holidays and parties. You’ve probably already guessed but I got to see the majority of them again when Rebecca and Chris were married a few years ago. Looking back it’s hard to believe I’ve known some of these handsome faces for a decade. I feel so lucky for that.

To the McLaughlin Crew – I’m blessed to know you. I’m honored you asked me to be part of your day. I look forward to lifelong friendships with some of you and wish the best to those of you I may not run into again. Thanks! You are such a fun bunch!!

Poor little Jonah had an accident a few days before this shoot. Becca experienced her child’s first BIG boo-boo and was a helpless bystander as Jonah found himself experiencing his first emergency room visit.
