Little Boys Get All the Lashes! {Charlotte Area Family Photographer}

OMGoodness look at these lashes! Ca-Razy. Sorry – I just had to say that first. I am so excited to share these photos. Does this family look familiar? I’ve done a session with them before. Recently, I visited them on the 4th of July to do a shoot with Grant now that he is more mobile and active. It was so much fun getting to see how much he has grown over the past few months. I love his little blue-jean shirt, khaki shorts and bucket hat. It is too cute.

One of my favorite things about lifestyle photography is clients being able to look back and say “Look at him <fill in the blank>. I remember he used to do that all the time!” For instance, at the age Grant is, he sticks everything in his mouth – as do all children his age. So there are several pictures where you see him putting fingers, food and even rocks/sand in his mouth. It’s so funny. The best part is, parents don’t realize right now while they try every minute to avoid them putting things in their mouth, that someday with photos like the ones below, they will look back and smile, laugh and remember it like it was yesterday. And in that case, my photos did exactly what I hoped they would do. That’s why I love being a photographer.
